When a Debt is Owed…

I have another exciting release my darlings. Coming later today. I do love writing dark mafia pieces, although I can’t add as much of the thriller concept as I would like. BUT… This is the beginning of a new five book series. Imagine five princes of the most notorious crime syndicates in the country. They’re supposed to be enemies, but what if they band together to “help” each other when needed? Hmmm… A little different?

Now, imagine if your family’s legacy is threatened by a would-be President of the United States. How far would you go to protect your wealth, your family and your honor? Yes, mafia men do have certain levels of honor.

Here’s a taste of the first…

HIS AS PAYMENT

Dominick

Only in darkness can I feel the light…

The thought was revealing. A monster’s personality. My father coined the word ‘primal’ hisaspayment_fullfor his firstborn son, a spawn he’d shared proudly with everyone in and outside the traditional family, the Borgata. The term was perfect for a man ascending to the throne.

I was ruthless and heartless both in business and in the ways of pleasure, preferring more sadistic methods of passion. My first love would always be making money and I was rich and powerful in ways few could dream of.

I was also on borrowed time.

That was the way of crime families, only one step away from hitting the front page of the New York Times.Murdered in cold blood. Horrendous acts of revenge.

Retaliation.

The statements fit our way of life, but given the power and influence, we didn’t give a fuck about our chances of meeting the grim reaper. What we did care about was eradicating our enemies.

This was the same for the men I’d gathered into a special club, ill-advised at best and one kept secret from our fathers. After all, we were considered mortal enemies. However, there was an additional connection, a friendship my father had with the Chicago Don, one that had transcended various turf wars over the years. Carmine Francesco was four years my father’s senior, but by all accounts, he had a firm hold on the Midwest. And my father? Brutal.

Unforgiving.

And some said ready to turn over his kingdom to his son.

I took a sip of my drink, savoring the delicious and very expensive bourbon. The five bureaus, as many referred the mafia kingdoms, remained masters of the underground, controlling everything from transportation and the country’s supply of heroin to the movie and music industry. Few Americans truly understood our far-reaching tentacles.

Or the danger we presented.

I eyed the last man to enter the private room, holding back a vicious sneer at his swagger. “You’re late.” I swirled the tumbler, concentrating on the way the melting ice clicked against the thick glass. This wasn’t my first drink of the day nor it be my last. We had business to conduct, brutal business. Decisions we made tonight would consume the lives of our enemies.

I didn’t care for Lorenzo Francesco, merely tolerating his acceptance into our club; however, he was considered royalty within our ranks. I’d known him for years, loathing his tactics. Sadly, shunning him could mean a horrific turf war – even with the friendship between fathers. Lorenzo was certainly more powerful than the others. Or perhaps I should say, well connected.

“Dominick Lugiano, my friend.” Lorenzo held out his arms as he approached the table, staring directly into my hard, cold eyes.

“Sit down, Lorenzo,” Aleksei barked, the Russian accent more prevalent than usual. He was a second-generation immigrant, his father, Aleksandr Petrov having strong armed his way into Philadelphia. The Bratva’s were savage, angry and barbarian in nature, but effective in dealing with those who opposed them. I had complete respect for their regime.

Lorenzo chuckled and adjusted his suit jacket before easing into his usual place, tapping his fingers on the table. “Where the hell is the waitress?”

“Keep your voice down,” Miguel remarked. The Miami syndicate was well known for their brutal tactics, but certainly none greater than those in New York. Still, the Garcia family was highly respected among the various Kingpins.

I took a sip of my drink, keeping my own rage at bay, noticing that the fifth in our group was paying zero attention, preferring to text on his phone, no doubt to his agent. Kelan Rock preferred his life as a movie star to accepting his role as the up and coming Don of Los Angeles. I had a feeling the man would have a difficult road in the future.

As if on cue, the only waitress ever allowed in our private section eased into the room. She was beautiful, albeit barely twenty-one, and considered off limits to all of us.

A terrible shame but one we honored collectively.

I wouldn’t mind introducing her to the darkest side of kink.

I held the conversation until she’d positioned the drinks, enjoying the leering eyes of every man surrounding the table. We never varied from our selection, one she knew very well. She earned her tips in various ways, her lovely figure being one of them. When the door was closed, I leaned over the table.

“Why are we here?” Lorenzo lifted an eyebrow, his contempt at our meetings obvious.

“Drummand Hargrove.” I waited as the name sunk in, glancing at every one of my associates. They were well aware of my unconditional tactics, but this meeting was geared toward eliminating my satisfaction of an issue. Their role was limited to necessary support; paving the way with law enforcement and street thugs. Comparing notes was merely a perk of our industry. We took a vote and stood by our decision, no matter the consequences.

“The state Senator?” Aleksei finally asked.

“The very one.”

“What beef do you have with him?” Miguel was already smiling as if he knew the answer.

I took a deep breath before answering. “He’s systematically trying to shut down our shipping and trucking businesses, forcing extra tariffs and making it almost impossible for our workers to make ends meet. They haven’t been able to pay their…taxes in the last two months. In addition, he’s behind a new set of proposed regulations on casinos, which is a total crock of shit given his proclivities. As you can imagine, none of this sits well with my father.” I always chose my words carefully.

“I bet not,” Aleksei snarked. “Your father is a vicious man. Why doesn’t he deal with this?” The words were offered with pride.

“I heard your father is considering giving you the nod,” Lorenzo stated.

I slowly turned my head in Lorenzo’s direction. News of this nature always traveled fast. There was no hiding the fact I’d been prepared to take the throne, but my father wasn’t ready to give up the reins. Our family had a firm hold on New York. What we’d been able to accomplish during the last six months had been considerable. Cleaning up the streets in a way our fathers refused to do. I shifted my gaze back to Aleksei. “Because his tactics would create a war.”

“What’s this Senator’s nemesis?” Lorenzo toyed with his drink.

“Gambling and women.” My answer was succinct. I had him in my clutches with no way out.

“Two things that don’t bode well on the political circuit. I heard he was considering a run for President.” Kelan finally joined in the conversation, his light blue eyes sparkling. “Heard some fascinating shit about what he likes doing to very young girls. Tying them up. Beating. Not a good guy.”

Lorenzo burst into laughter. “A shithead. Perfect. What do you want in return for allowing him to keep his…reputation?”

I leaned back, envisioning my prize as my cock throbbed and my balls tightened. I wanted to crush him in a manner he’d never forget. “His daughter.”

There was no conversation. The vote was unanimous in my favor.

***

The ballroom was decorated in various hues of silver and blue; from what I’d heard the colors of the Senator’s alma Mata. I could care less, but the swanky party was perfect for exacting my revenge.

“Champagne, sir?” the girl asked, batting her eyelashes as she gave me a seductive smile. In her hand was a tray full of crystal flutes.

Preparing for the upcoming celebration.

“Absolutely. I’m in a fantastic mood.” I grabbed a glass, allowing my gaze to linger on her voluptuous breasts. I was hungry as hell tonight. The taste of the bubbly was spectacular. The Senator had spared no expense in touting his brand of bullshit. “Tell me, do you have any idea where the Senator is?”

“I think he’s in the next room,” she purred.

I lifted my glass in appreciation before glancing toward the main opening. If the accounts were correct, Senator Hargrove would announce his candidacy at precisely nine pm. He was a man of many things including a static regimen. I could appreciate that, even though he was a true lowlife. I’d been given the opportunity to see pictures of his extracurricular and very kinky activities. The asshole was a true pig.

I enjoyed the scenery, walking through the crowd of celebrities, influencers, and low level politicians hanging on the Senator’s coattails. This would prove to be a fascinating evening. When I saw her, I stopped short, gazing from afar. I was a man who usually took what he wanted without care of recourse, but the game was far too important to risk giving Drummand any concept of an upper hand.

But I could enjoy the view.

Caroline Hargrove was magnificent, her copper colored hair flowing all the way down to the small of her waist. Standing under a burst of shimmering light near the bar, surrounded by a group of admirers, I was able to enjoy every aspect of her beauty. She was fortunate to have her mother’s looks, beautiful in a voluptuous manner. Her hourglass figure and long legs had always created a twitch in my cock and tonight was no exception. She was Drummand’s only child, at least that had been acknowledged in the press. Very protected, her life had been more of a fairytale.

She’d attended the finest schools, graduating college a little over a year ago with a degree in business. However, her true love was painting, and I’d already found out that she had a gallery showing tomorrow night. I would be there. She was witty and charming, even more so when surrounded by her friends. In public, she attempted to toe the line, but was extremely opinioned and desperately in need of discipline. I couldn’t wait to peel away the layers, exposing the glorious and very submissive side that I knew dwelled within her.

Tonight, she held court, four female friends gushing over every aspect of the evening.

I’d learned as much about her as possible, finding out aspects about her likes and dislikes, from clothing to wine. I knew exactly how to entice her darkest fantasies, spark the woman who was living in a glass cage. I would ply her with gifts, pervert her with my depraved desires and undo her with my touch. I’d give her the kind of unbridled pleasure she never knew existed and all for a single price.

Obedience.

Hmmm – what do you think? Can you imagine what Dominick has in store for Caroline? I’ll post links when it’s live.

Kisses and spanks…

Can a BAD Man be Redeemed?

Isn’t that a question? Do you think a killer has a chance at becoming a good guy? Well, I’m exploring that very concept in my next release. The working title is A Bad, Bad Man, although its going to change. My guy is a true Capo, protecting the most heinous mafia leader of all time. And in truth, he’s sick of his job. When he’s asked to do the unthinkable, he makes another choice, one that will have him harboring the need for retribution. Curious?

A BAD, BAD MAN

Blade

“Look, you fucking asshole. I own you. If you dare think you’re going to get away with this, you don’t know me very well. Be prepared to meet your maker.” Diego’s left leg was twitching and as soon as the call ended, he tossed his cellphone, cursing in Spanish. “Puto gilipollas. Voy a matarlo.”

Fucking asshole. I’ll fucking kill him.The words were harsh, but no doubt truthful and on the mark. I almost never witnessed Diego losing his cool. That wasn’t his style. He was the man who could enjoy savoring a fine dinner, drinking a bottle of wine and enjoying sexy with dark hairgood conversation with his enemy, all before issuing a contract. And the poor dumb fucker would never know what hit him. The fact this individual bothered him so much meant everything I’d heard could be true.

I remained quiet, studying the buildings as we passed by. I actually loathed the limo rides but when the man wanted to make an entrance, I was always along for the ride, even against my advice. That had included tonight. After what Breaker had told me, I was more on edge than ever, prepared for an attack. Diego had more than one ‘situation’ as he liked to call them, one of the people he was trying to do business with reneging on his promise. For Diego? That was a punishable offense. My gut told me tonight would be interesting.

“Stop worrying, Erik,” Diego stated then yanked his drink from the holder, swirling the ice in a violent manner. I’d never seen him this angry.

“My job, sir.”

He chuckled and lifted his glass to his lips. I took the opportunity to glance in his direction, noticing the barrel of his favored Glock. He usually preferred not to carry, which meant he was also worried. “You’re about the only man in my family I can count on. I appreciate that. I really do.” He turned his head, glaring out the window. “Things may get a bit…messy in the next few days. I hope you can handle it.” Diego shook his head after issuing the words. “An out of state asshole believes he is going to take a portion of my business. He will learn the hard way.”

“Nothing to worry about.” I had firepower with me: a Beretta in an ankle holster, and my Browning Hi-Power clipped inside my jacket. A blade wouldn’t do for tonight, not with the stakes this high. Nothing was going to interfere with Diego’s evening. Not on my watch. The man would always have enemies, groups of various gangs trying to take over. I’d heard certain rumors, other Cartels hell bent on taking over Miami. That would be interesting to watch.

“Good man.” Diego exhaled, remaining quiet, but his leg continued to twitch. Even his own soldiers would say his actions were a sign of weakness. The man was cracking a little under the surface. Maybe the perfect time to escape.

Maybe the perfect time to get myself killed.

Avoiding making any noise, I glanced back out the window. We were only three blocks and one traffic light away. I wanted to get this night the hell over with.

“I won’t tolerate betrayal of any kind. None. I can’t have it for my organization.” Diego’s statement was clear. There was a rat in the family.

“I understand, sir. I feel the same.” I cringed just saying the words.

“I know you do. You’re like a son to me, Erik. You’d done very well for me. Very well indeed.”

I felt his cold stare, could almost hear what he was thinking. I own you. Sadly, the man did, and I’d accepted the role, even though I knew all those years ago what that would mean. “Thank you.”

“But the man who risks crossing me will pray for death.” Chuckling, he polished off his drink and adjusted his jacket before running both hands through his hair.

The man preened in front of anyone who would take notice. He also loved grandstanding to anyone who would listen. “Let me do a sweep.” There were dozens of people coming and going into the front of the Casablanca Casino, the area far too easy for one of Diego’s enemies to get a clean shot. We parked in back and only inches from the door. I climbed out, surveying the perimeter as I walked the area. I didn’t like the fact we didn’t have backup tonight, but given Diego’s penchant for the woman inside, he wasn’t prepared to give any additional fodder to the soldiers.

I snickered every time he came to see the blonde-haired actress, as if the entire city of Miami hadn’t figured out the infamous Diego Sanchez was having a torrid affair with her, including his wife. This was the way of things. When I was certain the alley was clean, I moved to the other side of the limo, opening the door. “Clear.”

Diego plastered on a smile and carefully stepped over the ugly cracks leading to the door. There was no paparazzi, no welcoming committee meeting him in a rat-infested back alley, but appearances were certainly everything. He offered no instructions and I said nothing else.

Both the driver and I were expected to wait.

And we did.

That is, until I heard the distinct sounds of a gun being fired, two shots only, muffled by distinct enough. I reacted, yanking out my gun and tossing open the door, racing inside. The weapon was locked and loaded, two additional ammo clips in my breast pocket. I knew every inch of the casino, every bathroom and every clandestine ‘special’ suite. I shoved my way past both employees and customers, taking long strides. I’d calculated the time it would take me to get to the suite prepared for El Hefe. Twelve seconds had passed. One second too long.

No one stood in my way or tried to stop me. Screams could be heard seconds before a single additional shot. Now, I was pissed. As people started running from every direction, heading for the exit, I powered through, seeing the coward aiming for another shot. Tuning out everything but the job at hand, I pulled the trigger. The man went down with a hard thud.

As I moved further inside the suite, I was able to see the blonde actress cowering in the corner, Diego comforting her, blood seeping through his crisp white linen jacket. There was also another girl still in the room, frozen, her eyes glued to the assassin. She was no doubt a dealer given her black and white attire. I had no time to deal with her. At least the shot had been clean, catching the asshole between the eyes.

“Oh!” the blonde screamed, clawing at Diego.

“I need to get you out of here.” I reacted, grabbing Diego and covering his body with mine.

“Don’t leave me!” the blonde demanded.

“Sorry, sweetheart,” Diego said absently, hissing under his breath.

The blonde shouted various obscenities as we left. We were in the limo and leaving the scene before we heard the first siren. No one would remember that Diego Sanchez had even been at the casino, including his lover. They knew better than to open their mouths.

What do you think? I’ll have more later this week and hopefully the sexy cover.

Don’t forget my sweet peeps that Hunting Their Mate is HOT off the presses. Now, in case you’re wondering, yes the book is the third in a series BUT it can be read as a stand alone. If you have a KU subscription, you can read for free so what’s stopping you???

Have a great Saturday!

HUNTING THEIR MATE

They hunted me. They caught me. Now they’re going to breed me.

As far as I’m concerned, the Cenzans will always be the enemy, and there can be no peace while they remain on our planet. I planned to make them pay for invading our huntingtheirmateworld, but I was hunted down and captured by two of their warriors with the help of a battle-hardened former Marine. Now I’m the one who is going to pay, as the three of them punish me, shame me, and share me.

Though the thought of a fellow human taking the side of these alien brutes enrages me, that is far from the worst of it. With every searing stroke of the strap that lands across my bare bottom, with every savage thrust as I am claimed over and over, and with every screaming climax, it is made more clear that it is my own quivering, thoroughly used body which has truly betrayed me.

PURCHASE HUNTING THEIR MATE

Hunting Their Mate

I have another fabulous release coming tomorrow! The third in the Cenzan world, where aliens fight to rebuild their lives, creating a new home on Earth. I had huge reactions to the human character, one dark and dangerous ex-Marine nicknamed Killer. I had so many requests to write his story that well, I just had to. Just a little taste for you…

HUNTING THEIR MATE

Earth – March 2146

Kristina

The Creepers were everywhere, consuming our resources and destroying our way of life. They were true monsters, walking the Earth as if we owed them something. To hell with that. The mother fuckers thought they could rule us, and even more disgusting was the realization that a huge percentage of humans had fallen into their trap. They actuallyhuntingtheirmate believed the gargantuan aliens wanted to be our friends, keep the peace.

I knew better.

The Cenzan Federation had infiltrated Earth almost two years before, blending with our people. The various government reactions had been mixed, although mostly favorable, acting as if their arrival had been foreseen.

Maybe it had.

I certainly knew there were possibilities of other lifeforms, had been educated to understand we couldn’t be the only inhabitable planet, but to have them not only living but thriving on our bruised and broken planet had been horrific to watch. Those past two years had changed everything, including my beliefs in any concept of a decent future.

I’d seen the Cenzan soldiers in action dozens if not hundreds of times, their false pretenses easy to see through. All they hungered for were human females to breed and bear their ugly little hybrids. I snorted at the thought. And the recent propaganda being issued by the various government leaders was ridiculous.

A New World Full of Peace and Prosperity.

Uh-huh. Only if every last breathing alien creature was wiped off our planet.

I allowed my mind to wander to a horrible vision from the past, the very moment I was shoved into the position of forging a new path, existing on my own. My entire world had been exterminated, the weapons used: Cenzan guns. I’d been the single person from my home village to survive and the only reason because I’d wandered off, longing for time alone at my favorite stream. I’d heard the shots, the bloodcurdling screams as I raced through the trees. At that moment, I’d lost every ounce of humanity as well as the majority of my heart, my entire family taken from me.

Hatred had replaced any concept of love.

A mission formed in my mind as I cradled my dying baby sister in my arms.

I would hunt the aliens down one by one.

“That the place you mentioned?” I asked as the small group of us exited the bank of trees and the protection the forest offered, leaving our dirt bikes hidden under thorny brush. What was left of this particular dilapidated city had been turned into refuge stations for humans and aliens alike, dirty little bars and shitty shacks offering a fine selection of proclivities for those with the cash.

I wasn’t in the mood for anything but a stiff drink and some information. If by chance we were able to eliminate a few Cenzans, then the night would be considered damn good.

“That’s it. To Hell and Back. Catchy name, huh?” Luci laughed as she walked in front of me, studying the layout. She was one of my most formidable lieutenants, a weapons expert, including the use of Cenzan guns. We had a dozen in our arsenal and they’d come to good use in a full-scale attack. One day, our camp would be discovered by our enemy, but on that day, the aliens would be the ones to suffer.

Our particular mission on this full moon night was to gather information, securing the locations of Cenzan run colonies in order to develop an operational scheme. A bar where the liquor flowed and one known to be sympathetic to the aliens was the best place to garner correct data. It was amazing what human males would spill to females who offered them a seductive smile.

As far as the Cenzans? The plan was similar, only the alien warriors wouldn’t survive.

The bar had certainly seen better days, the dilapidated siding a sad reminder of our broken world. At least the neon sign, albeit missing a few bulbs, was glowing brightly in the night sky. Not every city had been destroyed during the great human war fifty years before, but those that hadn’t been were inundated with Cenzans, working and living alongside our illustrious government leaders and the pretty and privileged people.

The Creepers promised to help humans rebuild, using their expert knowledge. I’d yet to see anything worthwhile.

Ginger moved beside Luci, retrieving the console unit she’d retrofitted in order to search for Cenzans. The aliens had a higher body temperature, allowing a much more vivid color on a heat scanner that human lifeforms or animals. The device had come in handy on more than one occasion. “There are a few around, at least four inside the bar, more on the outskirts. We need to be careful.”

I flanked her side, taking a deep whiff. “I can smell their stench from here.” Careful wasn’t in my vocabulary, but I understood her meaning. Knowledge of our group had reached some Cenzan’s radar. Word on the proverbial street was that we were being hunted. Fuck that.

“I’m hungry to take out a few tonight,” Luci said, laughing as she allowed the steel of her switchblade to shimmer in the stream of moonlight.

“First, we drink. Then we kill, but only on my orders.” The women were excellent soldiers, trained by some of the best volunteers we had. Our numbers strong, the people well trained in various aspects of the military as well as science and engineering, we were a force to be reckoned with.

And there were more joining us every day.

“Good deal,” Ginger huffed, sliding the console onto her waistband.

As I walked inside, the disgusting odor of stale cigarettes and booze filtered into my nostrils. At least the place was clean, even festive given the circumstances. The long bar was brightly lit, various compserve units located in strategic locations along two walls, allowing every patron to hear more of the mindless bullshit regarding the new world.

Still, the location was safe enough.

The bartender wasn’t the only one who gave us more than a single onceover. Almost every other male in the joint did as well, human or otherwise. We sauntered through the crowd, ignoring the whistles and catcalls. I tapped my fingers on the bar, catching the eye of the scraggly looking man hovering behind the wooden slab in the shadows. Perhaps our reputation had proceeded us, although the realization there were no other women in the bar was disconcerting.

We were fresh meat.

“We don’t want any trouble,” he muttered as he walked closer.

“And you won’t get any unless you give me a reason to,” I retorted, eyeing his collection of liquor. At least the selection was decent.

I heard a dark chuckle coming from the end of the bar and snapped my head in the asshole’s direction. I wasn’t the kind of woman who gave any man a second look. I had my work and duties to fulfill and nothing else mattered. But this man was beautiful in every way, the kind a girl could fantasize about during a long, cold night. He also emitted a dangerous don’t-fuck-with-me aura that was almost as attractive as the man himself. I did appreciate a powerful brute, but only at standing distance. No man would ever dominate me.

My pussy clenched, my nipples tightening and for the love of God, even my mouth was bone dry.

The old expression was a tall drink of water. The blond was buff, his muscular arms stretching the limits of the tightly woven tee shirt. Even sitting in the shadows, I was able to see his angular jaw and chiseled features. What drew my eye the most was the colorful tattoo on his arm, sweeping under the material and sliding from his rounded collar along his powerful neck.

“Whatdya have?” the bartender asked.

“Tequila,” I ordered for all of us, unable to take my eyes off the hunk. I allowed my gaze to fall to his massive thighs for a few seconds, visions of one hard fuck sizzling the blood coursing through my veins.

The hunk powered back a shot of amber liquor, slamming the heavy bottom of the glass on the bar as if showing off. Then his eyes locked onto mine, his lip curling. He clenched his hand then opened, flexing his fingers. There was no doubt what was on his mind.

Unbridled sex.

The hunger of two predators, although he was even more primal, his desire bordering on carnal. I was wet and hot, my own longing dampening my panties.

I purposely turned toward the others, trying to curtail my raging hormones. Tonight wasn’t about passion, even though the experience would be raw and rough, just the way I liked it. Of that I had no doubt in my mind.

We scanned the perimeter, remaining quiet for a full minute.

“Interesting place,” Ginger whispered.

“Yes.” I was incensed that there was so much camaraderie, my anger white hot.

“I see a prime candidate,” Luci said under her breath before tipping back the shot glass.

I followed her gaze and the particular Cenzan was all alone. Even from this distance, I was able to see his tangerine eyes, the color dazzling. He was a warrior, one of the prime soldiers for the alien race. That meant certain important creatures were close by. That wasn’t what I expected to find. “I’ll deal with him.” I polished off the tequila, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand before heading in the Cenzan’s direction.

I could still be the consummate actress, capable of luring in any kind of prey. Issuing a sweet smile, I ran the tips of my fingers across the small table, drawing his attention. “Hello.”

The alien studied me before nodding, beckoning for the bartender. Then he pointed to the chair, his eyes changing in color and appearance, a clear sign of his interest.

He was very interested in the six-foot female with the long blonde cornrows. After all, I was an unusual specimen and he had two cocks in need of servicing.

“What’s your name?” he finally asked, leaning closer.

“Kristina.”

“Beautiful name for a beautiful girl.”

“And yours?” I noticed the bartender approaching, a wary look on his face.

“Chezka.”

“Very sexy for a powerful man,” I purred.

The bartender slid the drinks on the table, walking away quickly.

I lifted my glass for a toast. Then we drank. There was no need for further words. We were both adults. I simply rose to my feet, holding out my hand. He had no issue, interlocking his fingers with mine, trailing behind me as I led him outside and around the side of the bar.

This wasn’t going to take long.

Within seconds, Chezka shoved me against the building, immediately cupping my breasts. His growl was barbaric, as if he wanted to devour me. As he leaned down until our lips almost touched, I slid an arm around his neck, running my fingers in his shoulder length hair. “You’re very handsome.”

“And you’re one sexy female.”

The second he crushed his mouth over mine, I retrieved the knife, flicking open the blade.

Then all hell broke loose.

Chezka was yanked away, the force tossing him on the ground and a hand wrapped around mine, squeezing until I cried out.

The mystery man slammed my arm against the building.

Once.

Twice.

Pain ripped through my arm and shoulder, weakening my hand and I lost control of the knife. I took several deep breaths, balling my other hand into a fist and slamming it against the hunk of a man. Another ripple of anguish jetted into my chest. He was solid, unyielding in any manner.

“That wasn’t very nice,” the man growled, the timbre reeking of dangerous intent. He towered over me, his hot breath skating along my naked skin. The blond from the bar. The asshole had followed me outside.

I hope you enjoyed. If you haven’t read the other two, this can be read as a stand alone BUT you will gain so much more.

Ruthless Mafia Men, Sexy Roughnecks…

We all love alpha men. Don’t we? I’ll admit to you that I do love a bad boy with a heart of gold. I also love writing about all types. I can’t help myself. Why limit what books I write? What are you favorite types of heroes? I’d really love to know.

Just a reminder that I have a very special sale going on. Caught is still at $.99 for a limited time but a perfect Mother’s Day read or present! It’s the first in the Calduchi Mafia family saga but can be read as a stand alone. Ruthless is the second. They highlight the two ultra sexy and dangerous brothers, Jagger and Giovanni. Oh, and remember that if you already have a KU subscription, the books are FREE to read!

CAUGHT

You don’t say no to a man like him.

If you’re forced to come to an arrangement with someone as dangerous as Jagger Calduchi, it means he’s about to take what he wants, and you’ll give it to him… even if it’s caught-bookbub-square-99-cent-priceyour body.

I got caught snooping where I didn’t belong, and Jagger made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. A week with him where his rules are the only rules, or his bought and paid for cops take me to jail.

He’s going to punish me, train me, and master me completely. When he’s used me so shamefully I blush just to think about it, maybe he’ll let me go home… or maybe he’ll decide to keep me.

PURCHASE CAUGHT

And my latest is all about Roughnecks. You know, oil riggers. This one is set in the Gulf Coast, where rugged men and women often vie to be “top dog”. Well, Jack Stone is all things sexy and dangerous.

ROUGHNECK

He’s rough, he’s dirty, and he’s not going to be gentle.

When I took a job on an oil rig to escape my scheming stepfather’s efforts to set me up with one of his business cronies, I knew I’d be working with rugged men. What I didn’t expect is to find myself bent over a desk, my cheeks soaked with tears and my bare thighs wet for a very different reason, as my well-punished bottom is thoroughly used byroughneck_full a stern, infuriatingly sexy roughneck.

Even though I should have known better than to get sassy with a firm-handed cowboy, let alone a tough-as-nails former Marine, there’s no denying that learning the hard way was every bit as hot as it was shameful. But a sore, welted backside is just the start of his plans for me, and no matter how much I blush to admit it, I know I’m going to take everything he gives me and beg for more.

PURCHASE ROUGHNECK

What am I working on now? Well, I do love my firefighters and smokejumpers. What about Wildland Firefighters? Have any clue what they do? They are part of the Forestry Division, with full capabilities of making an arrest…  Imagine the possibilities.

“Go! Go! Go!”

The scream from the captain rang out over the rush of flames, the heat and acrid smoke blinding.

“Come on!” I called to no one in particular, jumping over the massive line of debris, racing toward the clearing. The fire had nearly gotten out of control, sweeping up the side of the mountain. Thank God, it had been contained, at least enough we’d veered the blue-hued flames away from the city.

Weather wasn’t our friend, the wind whipping in the wrong direction.

Crack!

The single sound escalated quickly, several of the burning trees twisting from the severe damage as well as the harsh wind. Blinking several times, I could just make out one of the crew up ahead, directly in the path of what I knew could be a catastrophe. Lumbering forward, I swung the ax, powering through the charred debris. “Get out of the way!”

The call was swiftly pulled into the roar, the fire all consuming.

And he hadn’t paid a damn bit of attention.

Adrenaline rushed into every cell and muscle in my body, catapulting me forward. I swung the metal blade down hard and fast, moving in a straight line in my effort to get to him. The firefighter was a sitting duck.

I heard another hard crack followed by booming sounds from off to the right. My advance was hindered by the amount of debris, every move labored, the swirling smoke creating tears in my eyes.

Go. Go. Go.

The mantra kept repeating in my mind, pushing me harder. Faster. I would save him. Just a few more steps. Just a few…

Boom!

Lunging forward, I caught the firefighter’s arm, yanking him to the left only mere seconds before the tree broke in half, crashing down on the terrain. Rolling, the momentum kept us going, everything happening in a blur. As we tumbled down a slope, somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind, I knew we were headed for the edge of a cliff with nothing to grab onto.

As if by the hand of God almighty, my legs became tangled in a series of rubble, stopping our progression in a quick jerk.

“Fuck!”

My call reverberated in the dense air and for the first time, I was able to see the blue sky.

“Jesus.” The deep baritone was followed by a series of brutal coughs as he disengaged, rolling over on his back. “What the hell was that?”

Cole Rivers had been a buddy of mine since joining the Wildland Firefighting team almost eighteen months before. He was also strong as an ox and never made these kinds of mistakes. We were all disoriented from the horrific series of fires that seemed to go on without any end in sight. At least we’d diverted a true catastrophe.

I also have a brand spanking new release. What’s not to love about Roughnecks? Right? They’re rough and dirty and when you mix in the fact Jack Stone is also a Marine AND a cowboy? Well, imagine the passion…

He’s rough, he’s dirty, and he’s not going to be gentle.

When I took a job on an oil rig to escape my scheming stepfather’s efforts to set me up with one of his business cronies, I knew I’d be working with rugged men. What I didn’t expect is to find myself bent over a desk, my cheeks soaked with tears and my bare thighs wet for a very different reason, as my well-punished bottom is thoroughly used by roughneck_fulla stern, infuriatingly sexy roughneck.

When a Man is Dark, Dangerous and…Ruthless

Don’t you love a dark and dangerous kind of man? I think most reader’s do. Women have always flirted with the desire for the bad boy, since the dawn of time. Bikers, Outlaws, Mafia Men, Marines, Cowboys – you name it, we hunger for the rugged, sexy kind of guy who takes what he wants but still has a heart that could be shaped into gold. Right?

We all know families are complicated. There isn’t a single human alive who doesn’t feel man in suit with gunangst or even anger given a family situation. Imagine if you’re in a family of mafiosos, where the leadership can be toppled at any time. Then imagine if your world is ripped apart and you’re forced to take the helm.

That’s a portion of the story behind Ruthless, the second in the Calduchi family saga. The Kingpin family controls Chicago, but rivaled constantly by other mafia families. When Giovanni’s father is murdered, his brother missing, he’s forced into donning the ring…

But…circumstances remind him that what he truly hungers for is love. While Caught is the first book, this can be read as a stand alone and of course, it has an HEA and no cheating. I hope you enjoy a taste.

RUTHLESS

Bloodshed. Death. Destruction.

This was my family’s legacy and all of it would be required in my new position as head of the Calduchi family. But I had a new word infiltrating my system and one that would become my legacy.

Suffering.

I would make the bastards who’d murdered my father in cold blood suffer in manners that only their nightmares could imagine. The word on the street was pinpointed at the rat Montego had mentioned just minutes before he’d been gunned down. The pricks from New York had yet to lay claim, but I knew instinctively who they were, and they would be punished for their sins.

Their leader, one sick bastard by the name of Bruno Giotano thought he was larger than life. He would soon learn he was nothing.

I certainly had no real love for my father. Montego Calduchi had been a hard man, brutal in his techniques, including dealing with his family, but I’d respected both him and his position. He’d been demanding as well as connected, certainly influential with hundreds of politicians and corporate moguls alike. And now I was required to take over his regime.

A cold shiver sliced into every muscle. I was prepared, more than ready to take command, but heads would roll under my dominion. Instead of initiating new soldiers, I was stuck in the freaking middle of nowhere, ready for some bogus rehabilitation that wasn’t necessary.

And I was pissed.

Columbus, Ohio. Fucking fantastic. I’d do my stint in medical rehab, directing my capos while the streets continued to play out the bloodbath. Information had flowed freely enough, the hit meant for the entire family. The plot had been ingenious, and I still had no knowledge of my brother’s whereabouts. For all I knew, Jagger was dead. To everyone, except for three of my most trusted men, I was still in intensive care at the Chicago hospital, barely hanging on, the Consigliereconsidered in charge. The lie wouldn’t hold for much longer.

For all practical purposes, I’d died on the operating table, considered clinically dead for almost two minutes. The single bullet had almost been successful. Still, I couldn’t afford to be laid up like some sick dog. I had a job to do and I loathed this shit.

Anyone who knew me realized I wasn’t the kind of man to run from a problem. Rage furrowed in my gut. Losing Franco, Tony, and Cane, powerful capos in their own right in the process was an enormous hit for our family and word had spread within minutes that our organization had been cut in half. Wasn’t good for business all the way around.

We also lost three soldiers. At least Daniel and Marco had only been injured and were alive. As the newest capos, they’d be forced to take over a lion’s share of the business dealings until I could get a handle on things. By the grace of St. Francis, Antonio had reacted quickly enough, dragging me away from the carnage. I owed the boy my life. The wound was healing, but a round of TLC was definitely needed.

But I had something else in mind.

I took a swig of my scotch, grimacing at the bitter, cheap taste. One week was seven days too long. At least by then, a plan would be set in motion. Antonio sat at a small table several yards away, the soldier bumped up to a made man after the incident. He’d earned his stripes after risking his life. He was my initial protector, my driver, and my hired gun. The man I most trusted had suggested the particular hospital, and I hadn’t been in any condition to ask questions or contradict him.

intense couple“What the fuck am I doing here?” My snarl was deep, coming from the heightened rage I’d felt since the attempted massacre.

My utter disgust drew attention from the striking blonde sitting at the other end of the bar. In the rather dingy setting, I was surprised to see such a beautiful creature. She twisted her head in my direction, easing the single olive from her martini with her fingers. The only reaction was in her shimmering eyes, but all I could concentrate on was the way she pulled the oblong vegetable in her luscious mouth after licking off the juices. Her tongue darted back and forth, creating filthy fantasies, vile images in vivid color.

She slid the tip of her manicured fingernail around the rim of her glass, not once but three times. The beautiful woman had no idea how sensual she truly was. Inhaling, even the way her exotic perfume wafted into my nostrils was enough to create depraved thoughts in my mind. I wanted to tie her up, exposing her rosy nipples and pretty pink pussy. I wanted to spank her for being a bad girl, making certain her bottom was crisscrossed in the same vibrant hue as her dress. My mouth watered and my thoughts drifted into darkness, a passion that would not be denied but hadn’t been fulfilled in a long time.

My cock twitched, my balls tightening. My hunger was off the charts. As my chest rose and fell, I knew I had to have her. I offered a slight smile, shifting in the seat as my shaft became pinched. She seemed amused at my outburst then almost immediately glanced at her watch. Who was she waiting for? A boyfriend? Her stunning scarlet dress hugged every curve, accentuating her long legs. After a few seconds, she casually looked in my direction. She certainly wasn’t hovering at the bar for any business purposes. I snickered at the thought. Lifting my glass, I gave her a nod of approval.

Almost instantly she looked away, as if the attention was unwanted.

No one ever denied what I craved.

Certainly no one ever dared refute my command.

Not if they wanted to live.

This beauty would garner an exception to the rule. After all, she didn’t belong to me.

Yet.

At least my personality was intact as well as my desires.

She grew more restless as the minutes ticked on, finally tossing back the remainder of her drink and dragging her finger across her ruby-stained lips. Just as she yanked a small purse from the seat beside her, a hand was placed on her shoulder, the grip firm. Far too firm for a casual meeting.

I glanced sideways at the asshole who’d dared to be late, sizing him up. He was no doubt an attorney by the way he was dressed and by the looks of it, one that was paid very well.

“You’re late. As usual,” she attempted to say quietly, but she seemed far too angry.

“I couldn’t very well leave court, now could I?” he snapped and waved for the bartender. “Whisky, neat and another one for the lady.”

She laughed, the sound husky yet contrived. “The last time I checked the court calendar, I didn’t notice that cases continued until nine in the evening.”

A full minute of tense silence followed.

“Why do you have to be such a bitch?” he spewed then smacked his hand on the bar. “How about those drinks? Any time now.”

“And why do you have to be such a bastard?” she retorted, shaking her head.

Asshole. You’ve been caught.I could almost detect the scent of another woman. I took another sip of my drink, contemplating my reckless desires. I was supposed to keep a low profile while I was here and that didn’t include partaking in tasting a beautiful woman.

But I just might be forced to make an exception.

The boyfriend hissed and wrapped his hand around the back of her neck, squeezing.

My hackles were instantly raised.

Gasping, she shoved his chest. “Let go of me, you prick.”

The bartender slapped the asshole’s drink on the counter. I was delighted to notice that a solid one third was spilled over the edge. In contrast, the man behind the chipped fake wood bar gently placed a cocktail napkin on the bar and eased another martini on top. “Is this asshole bothering you, miss?”

“I can handle him, but thank you,” she quipped, managing to wriggle out of the jerk’s hold.

Every muscle in my body tensed, prepared to take the prick outside if necessary.

The bartender gave the boyfriend a wary and very nasty look before sauntering off. If the shithead didn’t release his hold in about two split seconds, I would make certain he found it difficult to use his hand again.

Ever.

He seemed to sense my discord, darting his eyes in my direction and releasing her. Leaning over, he whispered in her ear.

I was ready to finish my drink then leave, disgusted with the entire scene when she whirled in his direction, snarling in what I had to say was a classy manner.

“Jimmy. I think it’s time that you and I end this chapter. For good.”

He laughed, tossing the long wave falling in his face as if he didn’t have a care in the world. “You will do as I say.”

“Or what exactly?” While she issued the words, I’d already muttered them under my breath. I gripped the edge of the bar, rising to my feet.

“Or you know what happens,” boyfriend dared to say.

To her credit, she tossed her drink in his face then clamored to grab her purse. “Fuck you. You’re out of my life, you cheating bastard.”

I only managed to notice the way he grabbed and wrenched her arm before I shot around the bar, yanking him away and slamming his body against the wall. “You don’t talk to women that way, buddy.”

“Get off me, you freak! This is between me and her,” he snarled.

There was no turning back. My hand shot around his throat, lifting him several inches off the floor. I heard the shrieks from behind me, but I didn’t give a shit. This bastard was going to learn a very valuable lesson. My fingers dug into the various pressure points in his neck and within seconds, he was unable to breathe. As he flailed, his face turning red, I was somewhat surprised that no one attempted to stop my actions.

“Now, you’re going to walk out of this bar and never bother this gorgeous woman ever again. If I hear that you try even once to contact her, you will have me to deal with and trust me, you don’t want that to happen.”

Boyfriend’s eyes were bulging even as he attempted to nod. I lowered him very slowly to the floor. I had to shut down my instinct to drag him outside. This wasn’t the time or the place to draw any attention to the fact of who I was or that I was drinking in a cheap rundown bar.

The jerk coughed several times, wheezing to the point I almost burst into laughter. As he attempted to stand, making certain his tie was straight, I resisted punching him in the kidney. He barely gave the sensuous creature another look before scampering toward the front door.

The various claps and cheers did nothing to brighten my mood. Pricks like that didn’t deserve to have a gorgeous woman on their arm.

Issuing another snarl, I turned around. I didn’t know this girl and she certainly could have been incensed, angry that I’d tossed him out. The blonde gave me an appreciative smile, the kind that allowed me a slight glimpse behind her mask, pretending the loss meant nothing to her.

She was a vulnerable kitten in a world of wolves. All I wanted to do was feast, sliding my tongue into her sweet pussy only seconds before thrusting my cock so deep that she screamed out my name.

I wanted her begging for more.

And I would take every inch of her, body and soul.

SYNOPSIS

When he decided he wanted me, he took me.

Treating a mobster shot by a rival’s goons isn’t really my forte, but when a man is powerful enough to have a whole wing of a hospital cleared out for his protection, you do as you’re told.

To make matters worse, this isn’t first time I’ve met Giovanni Calduchi. It turns out my newest patient is the stern, sexy brute who all but dragged me back to his hotel room a couple of nights ago so he could use my body as he pleased, then showed up at my house the next day, stripped me bare, and spanked me until I was begging him to take me even more roughly and shamefully.

Now, with his enemies likely to be coming after me in order to get to him, all I can do is hope he’s as good at keeping me safe as he is at keeping me blushing, sore, and thoroughly satisfied.

I hope you enjoyed. Oh, and Gio is very sexy…

SUFFER

“Eh, Luigi, this is the best gravy you’ve made in decades.” When Montego Calduchi spoke, man with gun three
everyone listened and the entire room was leaning forward, as if the ordained crime boss was about to give an important speech.

Or issue a hit.

The man was powerful, considered one of the most dangerous men in America. He was without question a brutal monster, lording his reign over everyone. There wasn’t a single syndicate in the country who wouldn’t enjoying dethroning his empire, what would be my kingdom at some point.

Chicago.

Home of the White Sox and some of the sexiest women in the Mid-West.

Home of the most notorious crime family in the country.

My father had been head of the family for almost forty years, his acts of cruelty leaving a trail of blood for decades. No one defied him.

“Thank you, sir. Thank you so very much,” Luigi said, his raspy voice, altered by decades of heavy smoking, was no match for Montego’s deep baritone. He leaned over, obtaining the obligatory kiss on each cheek and a hug, my father slapping the frail man’s back with vigor.

The private suite door momentarily opened, I was given beautiful and sultry change in scenery. The long legged brunette had no doubt made a point to stand just outside the door, hoping for an opportunity to showcase her voluptuous body. I gave her a respectful nod, envisioning her naked body draped over my lap, my well-worn leather belt in my hand. The thought made my balls tighten and my cock press in the most uncomfortable manner against my Armani pants. Sadly, the sensuous vixen was like all the rest; hungry young women longing to obtain status as a Mafia mistress. The concept bored the fuck out of me.

“Me amigo,” Montego said as he pushed Luigi away, dismissing him from the room.

Already weary, I sat back, fingering the base of my wine glass, staring absently out the picture window and allowing the smoke from my Cuban cigar to billow in my father’s direction, one of many annoyances. A light rain continued to fall, creating a slight fog hovering over the busy street. This was my father’s favorite place to have lunch, a restaurant I’d often visited as a child. I only wished the location held the same found memory as did for my aging father.

Chuckling to myself, I took a sip of the expensive cabernet, longing to get the hell out of Chicago, even for a little while. Recent discussionswith my brother had left me with a nasty taste in my mouth even after the asshole had disappeared, ruining a decent business opportunity. There were seven of us positioned around a specially carved table, crafted from the finest and nearly extinct Brazilian woods.

All to my father’s likings and because of his demands.

The meeting had been mandatory, myself included. Seated were five top capos, the most vicious men in the syndicate. Bodyguards, the newest soldiers, remained on the outskirts of the room, keeping watch on the crowded street.

After giving me a dirty look, Montego’s eyes followed the chef, waiting until the aging man had left the room, closing the door behind him. Privacy was everything. “Prick.” He tossed his fork and yanked the napkin from the collar of his shirt. “Stupid man can’t make gravy to save his ass. He needs to get out of the business.”

My father certainly didn’t give a shit about anyone or anything.

Including his children.

Montego had already eaten the majority of his capellini, as always and we’d only been here fifteen minutes. The man truly disgusted me and the worst part? I’d ended up just like him. Hard edged, refusing to budge and my joy of slicing and dicing legendary. I was a man to be feared. I took another puff of my cigar, savoring the rich smoke. The box of Cubans had been a gift from one of the dozens of businesses my family protected. The expensive smokes had also been a thank you for allowing the greasy pig owner to live after being light on his payment.

There would be no more second chances.

“Then why are we still coming here, boss?” the soldier asked, his foot tapping on the floor from eagerness. “I could give you suggestions for some pretty good places.”

I held my tongue. The young soldier had just made his first blunder. He’d opened his mouth.

“Will you listen to that babbo?” Montego said, laughing as he glanced from one capo to another, expecting their agreement. His eyes landed on me last, the laughter turning sour given I was ignoring him. He called everyone in our organization an idiot, including his own sons. “The pussy boy thinks he has a brain inside that big head of his. Suggestions my ass.”

The men laughed, as they always did. Poor Antonio looked sheepish, regretting spewing the question. The kid shifted back and forth, trying his best to shrink into the woodwork.

“Can we get on with it?” I asked casually.

Montego’s smile instantly faded and he pounded his fist on the table. Complete silence swept across the room. “Fine. Let’s get to it.” Shifting back, he tapped his finger on the lip of his glass, his expression cold. “All this talk about New York taking over has put our organization in a precarious position. We have a rat in our family and we are going to find him. I won’t tolerate cock sucking pigeons. He needs to be put on ice.”

I blew out another puff of smoke, my lips allowing a floating ring to form. I’d heard rumblings in the organization, the same shit as months before. My concern was that not just the New York Syndicate was attempting to muscle in. There were others who saw our family as weak, especially given my brother had turned his back on the Calduchi name. However, Montego seemed to care less. He adored Jagger, the favorite son.

“Who the fuck is it?” Marco asked, his upper lip curled into a snarl.

“Yeah, boss. Any idea?” Daniel huffed, his fat face puffing out from anger.

I’d grown up with Marco, even considering him my best friend. Daniel, on the other hand, I didn’t trust for shit.

“That’s for you boys to find out and you’re going to do so within twenty-four hours or blood will rain in the streets,” Montego commanded then polished off his glass of burgundy before adjusting his tie.

Lunch was officially over.

The capo’s all nodded, and in my mind, three quarters of them were nothing but dancing bobblehead dolls. No brains but every one of them had damn good killer instincts.

“Stay, Gio. I need to discuss something with you,” Montego said without looking in my direction. Then he slowly turned his head and for a few seconds, I could see the strangest emotion in my father’s eyes.

Sadness.

I nodded, keeping my place but my gut told me things were about to change.

The second Montego pushed back from the table, the others rose out of respect. A split second before my periphery of vision was cut off, I noticed a glint and my instincts kicked in hard. I reached for my Glock, jumping over the table in an effort to yank my father away from the window. Mother fucker. “Get down!”

Pop!

“You’re going to fuckin’ save him!”

Antonio’s voice? What the hell was going on? I tried to move or focus, but my arms and legs weren’t responding. I don’t…

“You need to back off, sir. There’s a waiting room just outside the corridor. Go there!”

Waiting room. A torrent of images flooded my mind. Blood. My father. I was so cold, so freaking cold. Help me. Where the fuck was I?

“Well, you better take care of him, doctor!” The deep voice was one I recognized. Why couldn’t I speak? Marco, I…

“You’re going to be fine, boss!”

Light flickered then blackness and…

“We’re losing him. Get him into surgery. Stat!”

Wheels in motion. Voices. Blood. The world passing by…

“Where the hell am I?” There was no light, other than an orange glow somewhere in the distance. My mind was foggy, cobwebs filtering through every thought. I shook my head, expecting blinding pain. There was nothing. No cold. No anguish. No emotion.

Nothing.

The world was slanted, askew like my vision. Survival. The word hit me like a ton of bricks, leaving me with an urgent need to get the fuck out of this bleak place. Move. Move! My legs were sluggish, unresponsive. I slapped my hands on whatever surface was near me, struggling to move forward even a few inches. Jesus. What had happened? I would do this. What mother fucker had put me in this predicament?

With every inch of success, an overwhelming feeling of failure slithered into my system, filling me with dread and fear unlike anything I’d ever experienced.

Figures and faceless shapes seemed to come from nowhere, shoving against me as they moved, more and more of them until claustrophobia strangled every breath. I clawed at my neck, confusion mixing together with the fog.

“I warned you, son. There’s still time to repent.”

The voice was so warm and loving. I turned sharply, unable to see who’d issued the words. “Who are you?” There was no immediate answer. Anger. Now, all I could feel was extreme anger. Blinding rage. “Where the fuck are you?” I pushed and shoved, trying to force my way through the crowd but the faceless group seemed to block my way.

“Redemption. Pray for redemption, my sweet and loving son.”

“Mother?” The fucking assholes wouldn’t get out of my way. I punched, catching one then two of them, knocking them to the ground. Shapeless monsters. There were more of them, hundreds if not thousands, all heading in my direction. “Mother?”

“Find a way,” she whispered.

What do you think? I so hope you enjoyed.piper-party-time-banner

Sexy Aliens

Hey, aliens can be very sexy, right? Do you remember when you thought about aliens, they were all little green men with huge heads and even large bug eyes? Times have changed. We’ve romanticized our concept of aliens, which makes writing romance oh-so delicious. For everyone who had a feeling that there might be a second in the Cenzan world, you were right. Releasing on February 22nd, you just might find out some answers.

Maybe…

Take the very first taste of what is now called Mastering Their Mate – but the title is going to change.

“Take her. Now! She will be punished severely.” The commanding voice was husky, laced with the kind of sensuality that would leave any woman panting with desire – human or otherwise.

alien oneI wasn’t one of them.

“Yes, captain.” The second voice was just as dark, a sneer remaining on his face as he looked me directly in the eyes.

The five creatures standing in front of a wayward group of humans were massive in size, their violet hued muscular bodies and piercing tangerine eyes demanding surrender. They were spectacular in every manner, their bodies chiseled from fine marble, skin glistening in the late morning sun as if flecked with sprinkles of gold. Their leader was regal, standing at well over six and a half feet tall, his long dark hair accentuating his voluptuous lips. Even the deep baritone of his husky and sensuous voice could be considered paralyzing for several reasons.

They were from the Cenzan race, a species that had touted their friendshipfrom the second they’d appeared, but I’d never been stupid enough to buy their crap.

They’d arrived on Earth almost two years before with little fanfare, crowding our airspace and attempting to become our friends. I’d seen their arrival, my face glued to the telescans like so many others in the surviving countries. There’s been so much trepidation then eagerness, like puppies longing for a new master. So many humans had bought their bullshit, falling for their handsome, rugged features and seductive manners.

The aliens.

Predators.

The bastards who’d killed my father.

Fuck them.

I took a decided step backward, defying the leader’s command, sneering at him in my usual defiant manner. “Stay away from me, you beasts. Fuck you!”

“You will not talk to the captain that way or you will be killed!” The Cenzan’s angry voice was more like a snarl.

Captain, huh? Who the hell cared?

“Oh, no.”

“Be quiet, Lexi.”

“Don’t anger them.”

I rolled my eyes hearing the various whispers – human whispers.

The other members of my hidden city stood huddled in fear, their breathing scattered as they attempted not to draw any attention to themselves. I’d done that for all of us. They’d hunted us like wild animals, breaking through our defense systems easily.

The great captain took a giant stride forward, his penetrating eyes concentrating on only me. I refused to blink.

I’d learned to hate the alien creatures. In my mind they were ruthless barbarians who had no care or understanding of human life. We were nothing to them but flesh and bone, men forced to work like imprisoned dogs, providing them nourishment. Sadly, the fate of fertile female humans was much worse. What little news traveled the airwaves told of horrific deeds, women abducted against their will. I’d followed the news since their arrival, making note of everything I’d heard. So much was confirmed by my father, a true hater of their kind. Then he was gone, taken from my mother and I in a flash.

The Cenzans believed they could rule our kind, stripping away what was left of our humanity. That would never happen as long as I was alive.

I was a fighter, a highly acclaimed astro-physicist, as well as a daughter of two highly trained scientists. I was also considered important to the lives of those living in Virginia City. Perhaps I’d turned into a dreamer, longing for what I’d been taught as a child, a kinder, gentler Earth.

That was no more.

The Cenzans were preparing to take over.

An earlier war had destroyed much of our lands, killing millions of people. We’d fought for our basic survival, only to be conquered by the most savage creatures in the entire solar system. My skin crawled just thinking about them. And here they were, attempting to punish me for protecting my people.

The leader gazed up and down the length of my trembling body, the look raw and visceral.

I was shaken, much more so than I wanted to let on and lifted my weapon. “Stay away from all of us or I willkill you.”

The leader took two giant strides, slapping away the weapon with ease, his hand snapping around my arm as he scanned the crowd. “This is what happens to those who do not obey us.”

As I struggled to get out of his powerful hold, he unfastened his belt, yanking the leather strap from the loops. I was stunned, unable to get away, fear crowding out any concept of breathing. “Let me go!” I finally screeched, longing for anyone in the city to stop him.

But they didn’t.

There was no way of knowing just how many monsters there were surrounding us and what they intended on doing. The boom only minutes before had been earthshattering, followed by flashes of searing white light, eradicating several of our specialized scientific equipment. Chaos had ensued, members of the city racing for cover. I’d had seconds to grab my gun, racing toward the entrance, the first to encounter the Cenzans entering our secured space.

“Get off me, you bastards!”

Issuing a series of guttural and very dark sounds, the leader wasted no time in doling out punishment, ignoring my defiance.

As the leather strap came down against my backside, I sucked in my breath, refusing to give the monster the satisfaction of hearing my cry. I was mortified, rage encompassing every inch of me. How in the hell had they broken through our cloaking device? Our heat sensors were blocked off, cooled to the point only a few instruments of any kind would be able to detect our presence.

He brought the strap down again. And again. The strikes were hard, the force jerking my body forward. The pain didn’t register at first but when it did, awakening every nerve ending, tears formed in my eyes. The moment was shocking, driving me to a heightened level of absolute shame. How could any creature do this for simply questioning what the hell they were doing?

What do you think? As you’ve learned, I write in several genres. You never know what’s going to come next. My latest release is all rugged cowboy. He’s a Marine, a survivor and has his eye on the very woman he fell in love with ALL those years ago. HOT off the presses.

TAMING HIS BRAT

The music seemed to stop, creating a vacuum as she turned to study the cowboy. The voice was so similar to Rex’s, a deep baritone, but there were no shivers, no wetness. He black and white cowboy twojust wasn’t the one. “I appreciate the offer, but I’m a little tired.”

“Well, if you rest up, little lady, come find me.”

Giving him a polite nod, she quickened her step, happy to see she was the second person in line. The wine in her hand, she headed for the bank of trees and picnic tables, far removed from the crowd. She leaned against a large oak tree, still tapping her foot in time to the music. The moon was almost full, creating a light show with the stars. She’d forgotten how beautiful Texas could be, especially at night. “I wish I may, I wish I might…” She allowed the words to die off.

“Wish upon a star tonight.”

Shards of electricity sheared along the backs of her legs, pulsing into her pussy, forcing her nipples to harden. She swallowed when he flanked her side, gazing up at the sky, his face pensive. The awkwardness was palpable. “What did you wish for?”

“Same thing I always do.” Rex kicked his heel into the grass.

“Mmm…”

“What about you?” he asked, darting a look over his shoulder.

“I don’t have a wish.”

“Everyone has a wish, even though we can’t be certain it’ll come true.”

She studied his long neck and strong shoulders, the short cropped blond hair, long legs that were to die for, and the most tantalizing lips she’d ever seen. “Why didn’t you call me?” Perfect conversation.

“When?”

“After the night in school.” Cooper whispered the words.

He seemed taken aback, turning to face her. “You remember that night.”

“I’ve never forgotten anything about that night. Everything was magical, special. Then you didn’t call and left town. I thought I’d done something wrong. Then I hated you, figuring you were just one of those guys.”

Rex lowered his head, brushing one hand through his hair. “Cooper, I loved the night we shared. Truth is, I wanted more.” He seemed to hesitate.

“Okay.” She had no idea what to say. “Then you should have called me. You should have said anything to me. Anything to help me understand.”

“You’re right. I was an asshole,” he whispered as he gazed up at the sky, shaking his head. “You have no idea how much I wanted to see you again, but I didn’t want to start anything because I knew it would have to end.”

“Why? I don’t understand.”

“You don’t know?”

“Know?” she repeated, inching closer. What was she supposed to have known?

He scrunched his face. “Where I’ve been.”

“No. I just got back into town myself. I didn’t talk to anyone and came back only twice for Christmas. I just wanted to get away, you know?” She took a sip of her wine, hiding behind the glass. Another song started, and she tipped her head, smiling as she looked in the direction of the band. “Do you remember this song?”

“Not easy to forget. Rascal Flatts—‘I Won’t Let Go.’” When he said the words, he inched closer.

“That was my dream and with you. I realize we were just kids, but everything was magical,” she said then exhaled, swaying her hips back and forth.

“Yeah. I’ve thought about us more than a few times.”

His voice sounded so haunted, full of pain. “Where did you go, Rex?” she dared to ask.

“The reason I didn’t call you was because I’d signed up for the Marines.”

Narrowing her eyes, she had no idea what to say. “I honestly had no idea. You enlisted?”

“Yep. I wanted to get away from my father and the ranch. I wasn’t that good in school, so I had limited choices for college. Seemed like the right decision to make. Fight for the rights of people, ensure the safety of my beloved country. Our country.”

“Then you’re a hero.” As soon as she said the words, his expression changed, becoming darker and even in the moonlight, she could see the mist in his eyes. “No matter what happened during your time, serving alone makes you a hero. Never forget that.”

He looked away, a deep breath escaping his lips.

“I wasn’t teasing. I wouldn’t tease about something like that. I just… Well, I just wanted you to know.” Cooper felt like the same young girl who’d thought she was in love with him.

Rex smiled and nodded, closing the distance and taking the wine from her hand. Every move deliberate, he eased the plastic glass onto the table and took both her hands into his. “How about a dance?”

She wasn’t certain why tears formed, threatening to reveal her sappy inner self. Perhaps because of her thoughts and wishes regarding the past or because of the sadness in his eyes, but she dug her nails into his hands, shaking. “I don’t do this very well.”

“Neither do I.” As the song continued, the sultry lilting sounds floating in their direction, he took the lead, keeping their bodies moving in time to the beat.

Relaxing, she gave him a shy smile and glanced down at her feet. There were so many words she wanted to say, thoughts about the past, but there was no reason. Six years had passed and they’d both changed. Maybe too much. “I would have given you my virginity that night.”

His eyes opening wide, he lowered his head, pressing his lips against her forehead. “And I would have been honored.” He eased one hand around her waist, pulling her close.

Cooper stiffened at first then as the tension passed, she eased her head against his carved chest, drinking in the strong scent of musk and testosterone. Just being in his arms created a wave of heat between her legs, yet she had no idea what to say or how to think. The slick wetness soaked into her already damp panties and with every shift, her erect nipples became a distinct reminder of her complicated yearning.

He pulled her even closer, his hips swaying, his footsteps leading them in a wide arc.

The feel of his groin against her stomach stole her breath, the way he throbbed, his hardness allowing her to know his feelings, his longing. Closing her eyes, she fell into the moment, clutching his shirt, her legs quivering. When he leaned in, holding her even tighter, the entire world seemed to melt away, leaving only the two of them. Her breath skipped, electricity searing every nerve ending. Everything about this was a sinful temptation or maybe a reminder of exactly what she couldn’t have.

Bloodshed. Death. Destruction.

This was my family’s legacy and nothing I want to have anything to do with. Try telling that to my father, the patriarch; formidable and considered one of the most dangerous his controlmen in America. I used to adore him when I was a kid, following him around as if he were a Rockstar, my hero. Then I found out the truth.

He’s nothing but a monster, although his age and unscrupulous ways have taken a toll on his Kingdom as well as his family. And I’m his son, well one of two. My brother, Giovanni is several years older, a catch to the ladies, the next in line for the Chicago throne. And I could care less.

Montego Calduchi is the preordained crime boss of Chicago, his ruthless and brutal activities considered legendary, even among the other crime syndicate families. He rules with an iron fist, preferring to cut a man down versus hear any excuse.

There are dozens if not hundreds of people who would stop at nothing to butcher my father and if you grilled me I’d have to say, I might be on that list. The trouble with power is that everyone else wants a piece of it. Given the New York crime syndicate was muscling in, the Chicago boys had determined that their brand of viciousness meant they should be top dog. There was also concern about the various wanna be’s from Jersey to Philadelphia, so I’d say my father’s days are numbered.

Good riddance.

And me? Well, I’d guess my days are numbered too, if my brother has anything to say about it. I rubbed my eyes, snickering at my lapse of judgment. I should have taken my college education and slipped out of the country when I’d had the chance. Sadly, the perks of the ‘industry’, if you can call racketeering and extorsion any kind of profession, were far too much of a draw. Within months, I was following in my father’s footsteps until I’d had enough. So, here I am. Considered the bad boy of the Calduchi family.

Only I don’t call him my father any longer, at least not to his face. I lost that kind of respect during the last pseudo war occurring on the Chicago streets.

I’m used to having all the perks of a rich man. You know what I’m talking about: fast cars, even faster boats, and the kind of women who can make a cock hard in a single glance. I’ve had three hot babes hanging on my arms for various black-tie events, the envy of every red-blooded male. Slinky red dresses with slits just below their perfectly coiffed cunts. Cleavage low enough that almost any movement created gasps from other more conservative guests. And every one of the ladies with bodies to kill. You know the drill. Every man’s fantasy. All for the sake of a thrill.

Yeah, pretty damn hot. The issue? I’m always bored as fuck. Nothing ever changes. Maybe the lack of conversation or intelligence in my particular choices had finally taken a toll. I wanted more out of life. Great. Now, I sounded like all the rest of the dumb assholes I’d graduated with. Some were perfect students, trying their best to make a difference in this jaded world. Then there were my friends, the kind of boys you warned your little girls about. We went to Princeton. The finest education money and threats could buy. What fine upstanding gentlemen. I couldn’t help but chortle at the thought. We’d taken debauchery to an entirely ridiculous level, but none of us had any fear of retribution, or concern about finances either.

That was because no one dared touch us for fear of retaliation. One phone call from our respective fathers and the local morgue would have filled to capacity.

And not a single person would have opened their mouth.

So, we were nothing but bastards, savoring the spoils of our positions. Only six years later and my old college buddies were living exactly the lifestyle we’d sworn we’d never succumb to. Three were married with kids and the other two were well on their way. I was the last remaining hope for remaining unattached.

I pushed the latest financials across my desk and leaned back in the chair, swiveling from side to side. Bishop Enterprises was doing well, despite the difficulty acquiring other companies and the tough economy. In two short years since my takeover, I’ve been labeled a success. I’m also feared among my peers, my presence at any business meeting or local event tolerated at best.

This was my attempt at being an upstanding citizen, much to my father’s chagrin. Having a legit portion of the Calduchi enterprise looked good on paper, but slowly over time, reality had set in. I was far too much like my father, accepting the old ways – enforcement. My head ached from the thought, let alone living what I considered a lie. Hell. I wasn’t entirely certain who I was any longer. One thing was for certain. I’d become a dangerous man even if only using a pen.

At least the majority of the time.

I had another soiree to attend tonight and at minimum I needed to make an appearance. The tone would be established the moment I set foot in the ballroom. There would be Hell to pay. I had no choice at this point. Time was of the essence, final deals required. If not, Bishop would lose standing in the ruthless world of real estate takeovers. A female companion was required in order to keep any concept of peace. I closed and rubbed my eyes, furious that I’d accepted the invitation. A damn real estate party for the bigwigs in the developer industry.

And I was one of them.

Granted, I had business to conduct, two companies that needed reinforcement in the pressure to sell. Neither had budged even though fairly rough tactics had been used in order to influence their decision. Nope. I wasn’t proud, but I didn’t have enough muscle behind me to go up against my father. Plus, I had a quota to fill and their pristine ethics meant absolutely zero to me. By the end of the night, they would sign on the dotted line or the illustrious party would turn into a bloodbath. What few soldiers that had been directed to follow my lead were chomping at the bit.

A light rapping on the closed door drew my attention and not in a good way. I’d given strict instructions not to be bothered. “Yes?” Watching as the door opened little more than a crack reminded me that I was a business owner with employees who needed occasional direction. “Come in, Molly.”

She was freckle faced and perky on normal days, her strawberry blonde hair and dancing hazel eyes always giving me a smile. Today, she seemed pensive, as if the weight of the world was on her shoulders. Or that she was terrified.

What do you think? And don’t forget, my HOT off the presses science fiction book just might wet your appetite. Oh, did I mention the aliens have two cocks? Try and imagine…

CONQUERING THEIR MATE

They’re not just going to conquer me, use me, and enjoy me. They’re going to breed me.

For years the Cenzans have cast a menacing eye on Earth, but it still came as a shock to be captured, stripped bare, and claimed as a mate by their leader and his most trusted warriors.

It infuriates me to be punished for the slightest defiance and forced to submit to these alien brutes, but as I’m led naked through the corridors of their ship, my well-punished bare bottom and my helpless arousal both fully on display, I cannot help wondering how long it will be until I’m kneeling at the feet of my mates and begging them take me as shamefully as they please.

EXCERPT

“Beg me again, Phee.”

“Bryant…” Phee groaned, panting against the bedding, bent over his lap as he teased her mercilessly. His fingers curling down to brush against that bundle of nerves inside as his thumb pressed rhythmically over her clit. Continuing until she was gritting her teeth to hold back the flood of pleas that threatened to escape.

“Either beg me for what you want, or I’ll tie you up and make sure you don’t come all night.” Bryant’s threat made Phee’s mouth drop open, but before she could come up with something smart ass to say he slid a third finger inside her, pumping them in a vicious tease that had her shivering towards the edge of a glorious orgasm.

“Oh God… Bryant!” Phee bucked against his grip, but he refused to let her move, and so she finally gave in. Let go and let the tug of Bryant Holbrook’s whirlpool drag her down. “Please, Bryant, please fuck me, because I’m going to lose it if you don’t. Please, please—”

Bryant pushed her off his lap and onto her back, and then he was on top of her, his knees moving her thighs apart as she arched up against his chest. “You beg so well, Phee,” he purred, hips dropping between hers, and she was infuriated by the fabric separating them as he ground himself against her.

“Bryant! Please!” Phee reached down and tugged at the waist of his boxers, and he laughed against her skin as he kissed up her neck.

“So, you’re saying you want me?” Bryant grinned at her and grabbed her wrists, pinning them above her head.

“Yes! I want you, please, Bryant,” Phee begged, the whine in her voice obvious as she rolled her hips to try and get more contact, to try and get him to give in. Damn his self-control.

“All you had to do was ask.” He kissed her hard, biting her lip and devouring her mouth in a delirious rush that finally gave her a hint that he felt the same way she did. Lifting her hips, she moaned against his lips, desperate to feel him inside her. Breaking the kiss with a groan, he twisted to grab a condom from the bedside table and she immediately reached for his boxers. Bryant went still, grinning down at her. “Did I say you could move your hands, Phee?”

Whining, she returned them above her head, and it was torture to watch as he slid two fingers into his mouth. Tasting her like he had all the time in the world as the condom hung in his other hand and his cock stayed trapped behind dark cloth. Lifting her hips into the air, she was reassured by the way Bryant’s gaze burned down her body to focus between her legs. “Please, Bryant. Please…

“You taste so good.” That cocky smile tilted his lips and he gripped himself through his boxers, stroking as he lifted the foil of the condom to his mouth and tore the edge. “Are you going to be a good girl for me?”

“Yes, I will, I swear!” All pride out the window, she clenched the bedding in her fingers so she wouldn’t move.

“Next time I’m going to tie you up just so I can watch you writhe like this.” It was a promise she hoped he’d keep, but then none of it mattered because he was pushing his boxers down. He was long, thick, and she wanted to taste him, but didn’t dare move and tempt him to drag this out any further. He rolled the condom on slowly as he leaned over her. “Spread your legs for me,” he commanded and she did.

“Bryant,” she whispered, and then he was kissing her. One of his hands enveloped her wrists, tightening to hold them in place as she moaned against his lips, his cock brushing against her in a tortuous tease. She lifted her hips, pleading in broken murmurs, before he finallythrust inside her.

It was like hitting the ocean floor, the whirlpool an endless height above her, and she arched hard off the bed. He growled his own pleasure, hand tightening the grip on her wrists as he started to move. Each thrust pushing her closer to that tenuous edge of sharp pleasure, and an endless stream of pleas slipped from her lips as he moved his mouth to her neck and trailed kisses down to her shoulder. “That’s right, beg me for it…”
